Micah Roberts is a former Las Vegas Sports Book Director with over 15 years of experience in creating and setting betting lines for all sports.

He became the go-to source for all media outlets regarding NASCAR betting when NASCAR first came to Las Vegas in 1998 because he offered more propositions tied in to the sport than anyone had seen before.

His odds were sent out every year in a press release by the Las Vegas Motor Speedway prior to any of their events for NASCAR’s Nationwide, Trucks, and Cup Series events as well as the two annual NHRA events each year. NHRA odds had never been posted by anyone in Nevada prior.

Micah went to UNLV to become a history teacher and switched to journalism by his junior year. While going to school, he landed a part time job at a sports book writing bets on the weekends. There was no better job in the world for a sports fan who would be at home watching the games anyway.

After two years, his knowledge of all sports was recognized and appreciated and was subsequently promoted giving him the opportunity to utilize all his sports and betting knowledge to the house‘s advantage.

From there, things just took off in the gaming industry, but Roberts still held to his journalism roots writing a weekly NASCAR column and appearing on several national radio and television shows.

He currently writes for several media outlets covering NASCAR, Pro Football, College Football, College Basketball, and Fantasy Football.

He can be followed at Twitter under the name MicahRoberts7.

Alexandra “Alli” Owens, Driver

Alli Owens knows it is a long, narrow path leading to racing’s top series. Owens, though, has never let that stop her before.

Being a female in a male dominated industry, Owens doesn’t expect success to come easy.  She’s well aware of the devotion and sacrifice it takes to make it in the sport. But Owens has demonstrated time and time again that her dedication to racing knows no bounds. Owens’ first taste of racing competition was on a Huffy bike.  She signed on as a factory rider for Dan’s Competition/Huffy Bikes, scoring several wins and taking home the prestigious President’s Cup national championship award.

When Owens turned 12 years old, she upgraded her bicycle for a Quarter Midget and launched her career in motorsports.  The following year, she continued building her racing resume at the Volusia (Fla.) Speedway Park half-mile clay oval, competing in the Dirt Pure Stock Division. Owens capped off her rookie year with an impressive two wins, six top-fives and eight top-10 finishes.

In 2004, Owens was selected to be part of the prestigious Lyn St. James Academy driver development program.  While in school, Owens fine tuned her driving skills and polished her media techniques. Owens left the academy ready to graduate to asphalt racing.  She began competing in the Mini Stock division at the half-mile oval at New Smyrna Speedway.  Owens was fast out of the gates.  She completed the season third in the championship standings and took home Rookie-of-the-Year honors as well.

Owens progressed to the Late Model division at New Smyrna Speedway in 2005.  In her first event, Owens scored a second-place finish. She finished third in the championship standings in route to another Rookie-of-the-Year crown.

2007 was a banner season for Owens.  She forged a relationship ElectrifyingCareers.com, an organization dedicated to getting young people charged up about careers in the electrical industry.  ElectrifyingCareers.com sponsored Owens in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at Hickory Motor Speedway and in the Late Model division at Tri-County Speedway.

Owens took her racing career to the next level in 2008.  She paired with Mario Gosselin’s DGM Racing to drive the No. 12 ElectrifyingCareers.com car in the ARCA RE/MAX Series.  Owens achieved three top-15, four top-20 and seven top-25 finishes in the 12 events she competed in.

Last season the 20 year-old joined D’Hondt Motorsports to tackle the 2009 ARCA RE/MAX season.

Track Talk Motorsports Radio, featuring Alli Owens, was broadcast live in 2009 on the Prime Sports Radio Network. Here were some of those memorable shows from last year.
