Mike Berardino has provided top quality baseball coverage for more than two decades. He has served as a national baseball insider for CNNSI and the Sporting News, has been a columnist and assistant editor at Baseball America and spent 15 years at the South Florida Sun Sentinel, where he covered the Marlins throughout their many selloffs.
This is his first season covering the Minnesota Twins for the St. Paul Pioneer Press, and yes, he realizes he is eventually going to need a warmer winter coat.
