HANDICAPPING

Greg De Palma has spent many years doing exhaustive research on every sport he covers to ensure each one of his programs are as professional and educational as possible and that each listener gets the value he/she deems necessary.

Therefore, even though he does not consider himself and professional handicapper, he still uses the same tools and comes up with many viable options that can determine a team or players success.

This is why he offers his final thoughts and opinions on both his programs and here in these reports.

What a waste it would be if he didn't :-)

2013 FUTURES

MLB (2013)

Seattle, 100-1 on 4/1

Arizona, 33-1 on 4/23

Philadelphia, 35-1 on 4/23

Oakland, 26-1 on 4/29

T Bay, 22-1 on 4/29

Washington, 15-1 on 5/24

Baltimore, 30-1 on 5/29

Toronto, 50-1 on 6/17

Pittsburgh, 18-1 on 6/24

Boston, 4-1 on 10/2

RESULT: The Sox were our pre-playoff pick to win it all as the 4th choice c/o of Vegas.

NASCAR (2013)

K Harvick 25-1

T Stewart, 50-1

J Gordon, 25-1

D Earnhardt Jr., 25-1

Kyle Busch, 18-1

NBA (2013)

Miami, Even on 3/15

S Antonio, 12-1 on 4/20

Indiana, 52-1 on 4/27

New York, 19-1 on 4/27

Chicago, 35-1 on 5/7

Memphis, 18-1 on 5/7

OKC, 15-1 on 5/7

RESULT: Miami was our pre-playoff-pick to win the NBA Title, but the Spurs were our money pick. We still took advantage of the odds that dropped significantly prior to the start of the playoffs (1-5), so EVEN money odds actually turned out to be a steal on March 15th.

NFL (2013)

Baltimore, 18-1 on 1/1

RESULT: The Ravens were our pre-playoff-pick to win the NFL Title. The reason they were the only team on this list was because 1/1/13 was the start of our first ever ‘FUTURES REPORTS’. As you could imagine after the winning result, I had all the motivation required to make futures plays my main focus in the gambling arena.

NHL (2013)

LA, 18-1 on 1/10

San Jose, 25-1 on 4/5

NYR, 30-1 on 4/11

Vancouver, 14-1 on 4/11

NYI, 30-1 on 4/23

Washington, 19-1 on 4/29

Chicago, 10-1 on 5/24

Detroit, 6-1 on 5/24

RESULT: Chicago was our pre-playoff-pick to win the Stanley Cup, but since they were heavy favorites going in and hockey being a paradise for long-shots and dogs, we did not advocate a futures play with them until or if the odds were more in our favor. To our surprise that opportunity would in fact come up in the Western Conference Finals versus Detroit. We offered up both the Wings and the Hawks that day with the Hawks down 3 games to 1. My thinking was if Detroit held on it would make them a hard team to beat in the Cup Finals, but my real hope was that the Hawks would be able to win 3 straight with only 1 of those games on the road. When it was over, I had acquired a 10-1 winning play on the top team in the league. While it was a great lesson to learn on the value of futures, I was most pleased with the fact that it was a profitable lesson instead of like most other lessons I’ve been forced to learn…the hard way.
